Interessanterweise ist „There will never be another You“ ein Popsong, der von Mack Gordon (Text) und Harry Warren (Musik) geschrieben wurde und 1942 erschienen ist. Der Song wurde von John Payne und Joan Merrill in dem Spielfilm Iceland (1942) gesungen. Erst ab den 1950er Jahren entstanden von „There Will Never Be Another You“ im Jazz und Swing zahlreiche weitere Coverversionen, wodurch der Song zu einem beliebten Jazzstandard wurde und bis heute gerne auf Jamsessions gespielt wird.
